Something Has to Change: Understanding What Your Mind and Body Are Telling You in Midlife
An ongoing webinar series for midlife women by Dr. Alefiya Nomanbhoy, Singapore Registered Psychologist
You have been the one holding everything together. But lately, something feels different. Heavier. Less certain. And quietly, persistently, a part of you is asking: is this it?
What Is This Season, Yours?
This Season, Yours is an ongoing webinar series created specifically for women in midlife who sense that something needs to shift, but are not quite sure what, or where to begin.
Each session explores a different dimension of midlife wellbeing, from understanding what your mind and body are going through, to navigating ADHD, hormonal changes, identity shifts, and the particular pressures that come with being a woman in Asian and Middle Eastern communities.
These are not lectures. They are honest, warm, professionally guided conversations, designed to help you feel less alone and more equipped.
Every session is led by Dr. Alefiya Nomanbhoy, a Singapore Registered Psychologist with over 25 years of experience supporting women across Asia Pacific, South Asia, and the Middle East.
This Is for You If...
Life feels more complicated than you expected it to at this stage. Perhaps you are managing more than you can name, caring for children, parents, a household, a career, and somewhere in all of that, losing track of yourself. Perhaps your body is changing in ways nobody prepared you for. Perhaps you have always felt a little different, a little too much or not quite enough, and you are only now beginning to wonder why.
You do not need to have a diagnosis, a crisis, or a clear question. You just need to feel that something has to change. That is enough to start.
This series is particularly relevant for women navigating perimenopause and menopause, women who have recently received or are exploring an ADHD diagnosis, and women balancing cultural and family expectations alongside their own needs. Whether you are based in Singapore, across Southeast Asia, South Asia, or the Middle East, this space was created with your life in mind.
What to Expect from Each Session
Every This Season, Yours session is 60 minutes long. Each one is designed to give you three things.
A clearer understanding of what you are experiencing. Many women arrive at midlife carrying questions they have never had language for. Each session offers psychoeducation grounded in evidence, explained in plain, accessible language.
One practical strategy you can use immediately. Not a long list of things to add to your already full life. One thing, thoughtfully chosen, that you can try this week.
A sense that you are not navigating this alone. Because you are not. And sometimes that is the most important thing to hear.
Sessions are held online via Zoom, making them accessible wherever you are in the world.
