How I Work With You

Therapy is not one size fits all, and neither is the life you are bringing to it. My approach is tailored to you specifically, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapeutic methods. What stays constant across every session is this: you are heard, your pace is respected, and your cultural context is understood.

I work primarily with women navigating midlife transitions, ADHD, anxiety, identity shifts, and the complex intersection of all of these. My clients are based across Singapore, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East, and I bring genuine cultural sensitivity to every session, not as an add-on, but as a core part of how I practice.

What You Can Expect From Our Work Together

Rather than a list of generic benefits, I want to be honest about what therapy with me actually offers.

You can expect to feel less alone in what you are carrying. Many of my clients arrive having managed their struggles privately for years, sometimes decades. Having a space where those struggles are named and understood without judgment is often the first shift.

You can expect to understand yourself more clearly. Whether we are exploring the impact of ADHD on your daily life, the psychological dimensions of perimenopause, or the identity questions that midlife tends to surface, my aim is to help you develop language and insight for your own experience.

You can expect practical tools, not just insight. Understanding why you feel a certain way matters, but so does knowing what to do differently. I incorporate strategies you can use in your actual life, not just in the session.

You can expect your cultural context to be part of the conversation, not an afterthought. The expectations of family, community, and culture shape our inner lives profoundly. I do not ask you to set those aside.

Session Style

Sessions are conducted online via Zoom and are typically 50 minutes. In some circumstances sessions may run longer, on a case-by-case basis.

Our work together begins with an initial session where we take time to understand what has brought you here, what you are hoping for, and how I can best support you. From there, I will propose a therapeutic approach that fits your needs, and we will build from there.

All sessions are confidential. Your privacy and your sense of safety within our therapeutic relationship are something I take seriously.

Therapeutic Approaches

I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches depending on what is most appropriate for you. These include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, Trauma-based Therapies, and NLP Coaching.

Most sessions blend more than one approach. I do not work from a rigid framework. I work from what you need.

Take the First Step

Reaching out is often the hardest part. If you have been thinking about it, consider this the nudge.
